News Update - 01/31/08Howdy Y’all!
Thanks for tuning into The Cannonballs website. It’s a brand new year goin’ on & The Cannonballs are getting it together for 2008. I have to start off on a sad note that The Admiral of Thunder himself, Mr. Tom Foolery is no longer playing bass guitar with the band. We are on the prowl for a replacement & have a handful of friends & associates who will be filling in from time to time when needed. We started off with a couple of great weekend getaways to Kansas City & Bloomington, Il. Both great shows & great times & a big hello & raised bottles to all our new friends we made along the way. The songwriting has been getting thicker. A grand batch of new songs are in the works & getting ready to be recorded for a new record. The recording will take place at our rehearsal spot, Fort Awsome. Our annual summer tour of the UK is shaping up better than we hoped to imagine. We will be on the road in England from June 6th through the 30th. And this time, with the gracious help from our pals over the pond, the Faraway Tree, we will be swinging through London for a show or two.
