Alright all you Shin Diggers, Gear Jammers, Moon Runners, Mr. & Mrs. President & all the ships at sea. . .

The Cannonballs want to lend their finest “Thank You” and raise a glass to all who came out & supported them for their CD Release Party for “Disraeli Beers”. The night was a huge success. Lots of discs were sold as well as T shirts & other merch. Also a big thanks goes out to 8 Inch Betsy & The Steepwater Bands for a fine performance.

If you didn’t get your copy of “Disraeli Beers”, you can always purchase it right here on the website through the wonders of PayPal & finally you can download it right through iTunes (which the link to you will also find here on the site).

As far as the Cannonballs themselves are concerned…well, they will be retiring to Fort Awsome for some intense rehearsals & to begin the recording process of yet another record. They have a grand number of new songs to lie down & they are very excited to start tracking in their own space at their own pace. They will only be playing one more hometown gig for the rest of the year & that will be at Cal’s Liquors next week with their good friends from Madison, The Box Social.

Also in the works is the scheduling of their 2008 UK Tour. Guru & main Harmonica master, “Shakey” Ben Ruth is on the case as we speak with 8 confirmed date & counting which will see The Cannonballs trotting up & down the English countryside all throughout the month of June. And, with the help of the band’s long lost brothers of the East, The Faraway Tree will help them with bookings that will finally take them to London & there around.

But a new record is what is to be concentrated on right now, so The Cannonballs hope to see y’all out at Cal’s & a happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas & a very happy New Year to all of you!
